If so, might we make a move for a Chelsea / Citeh / Ubited striker if there's a decent unregistered one? I'm mostly thinking of Macheada (sp) here, or Sturridge. Not meaning to sound ungrateful for yesterday's business, I'm just curious!
You are right though. our time in the transfer market, and over the last 3 matches, has expressed the need for a striker. I understand our two big boys are ill... but Patrick Agymang... I havent even seen him complete a pass in prem, where was HElguson when we needed him?
I don't think any loan moves can happen now until September 1st? Don't quote me on that. But there will definitely be some very good players available for loan, Adam Johnson for one. Players like that will be perfect to bolster the squad and with the possibility of making the move permanent in January. But also I'm sure there will be some good players given free agent status by their clubs in order to give them a chance at a good move.

Don't understand this as loan deals were done yesterday as well, (Bendtner at Sunderland) why all they rush if you can loan Sept 1 which is today?
I dont think you are allowed loan players when the transfer window shuts not in the premier league anyway.
