So reports of a possible loan move for Henry to cover for Chamakh and Gervinho being off to the ACON. What do you guys think? Can he still play to a good enough level to be decent cover for RVP? It'd only be for 2 months and i think some players would benefit from having him at the club but i'm not sure that he is still good enough to play full games for us. I'd have no problem with getting him in as a back-up similar to Lehman last season or Sol the season before. Both turned out to be good moves. What do you guys think? Obviously it isn't the signing we are hoping for but would you be happy with Henry back at the Arsenal?
He may not be the player he was but he loves the club and will display some passion that the younger guys can learn from - the fact he comes 'free' is obviously a bonus and I don't see a downside, he would definitely bring a feel good factor....
One thing i think he would help with alot is the attitude at the club. We finally have a group of players who are all very commited to doing well for the club and are all trying to prove themselves. They don't look like they will roll over. Henry has the winning mentality and imo would help to keep this current motivation going.
