So appears we're going to need to dive into the loan market again this season. Mick has been making noises about this so I'm not surprised. Now clearly as we know under Jewell loaning 10000 players is an absolute disaster. Likewise, we know under Keane loaning class like Andros Townsend then having him as sub - send him back early from his loan spell is utterly stupid too. However, if we're going to use it PROPERLY and gain one or two classy additions like Gio/ J.Williams the loan market does indeed work well. So before we start the usual rants * bla bla bla we should have signed our own players bla bla bla bla bla * - lets see if we can be productive! Problem areas - Central midfield Striker I think we require a bit of class in each position. Not sure on names! Thoughts?
I think Mick knew all along he was going to go down that route. He's waited for them prem clubs to sort their teams out, see who won't be in the 25 man squads, and try and nick a couple of decent youngsters. As for names, i have no idea. I'm sure everyone is going to be hoping that Johhny Williams doesn't make Palaces's 25 man squad, me included, although i have a feeling he could be going elsewhere.

Well I hope there is a deal to be done with Williams. If the rumour was true that he was offered on a three month loan as part of the Mings deal then Palace must be willing to let the lad go out. Loans need to be better than we already have and I don't want to see faces brought in just for the sake of it, especially if it costs the likes of Bishop getting game time and experience.
Unless because we played hardball with Their bids for Mings and Goldy they might not want to be that helpful regarding loans to us, if not nevermind we can just look elsewhere or even just play the BISHOP.
he actually said that. He gave an interview that said he was waiting for premier league clubs to sort out their transfers and see which promising players would miss out due to new arrivals at the clubs involved. The thing is do we have problem positions or is it just the way MM wants us to play?
