no new signings!!! wtf!! we are in a worse position than the start of the season with injuries. we have players out suspended. we have no fit wingers at the club. we have no pace up front. we can only put 4 outfield players on the bench. to me this is unacceptable! we have another 6 games (5 weeks) to go before the transfer/loan wind re-opens. latest news on clucas - waiting to see a specialist so no idea when he will be back. latest news on brunt - trained on monday but not since as his knee is a major concern. latest news on clarke - didnt train today, may train tomorrow (friday) but wont be risked for the weekend. latest news on santos - back in training today but light training and may make the bench but that is a risk. no changes to the previous info given on kenneth, woodards, paterson, hammer and mcchrystal http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/237904-Injury-updates start praying guys that we get no more injuries / suspensions. .
It has definitely left me wondering what is going on in JW and Higgs' brains. They must be aware of how desperate the situation is, but I'll bet they'll go on about that bloody wage cap again.
The bottom line is that if things continue as they are, with our injuries and suspensions, players not giving their all, goalshy strikers and a manager who is playing negative, over cautious football, then we are going to be relegated to non-league. And it will be a long time before we're back.
I think most of the players are putting a lot of effort in. The bottom line is that they're just not good enough.
Nothing changes does it!! As i have been saying for years, no ambition.. sorry to say but its typical of rovers board.. for years we have been risking the drop yet nothing has been done about it! until there is a change at board level it will be the same sh*** season after season.. we may have a high wage cap(excuses, excuses) but how can clubs with a much less fan base than ours manage?? Trouble is the Board has been riding its luck for far to long and this time its going to go very wrong.. for years we have been relying on young kids to prop up the team but this only works with experienced players around them, Not the squad relying on kids!! Maybe it will be a good thing to drop out the league and maybe this will force a big change at Board level.. Higgs should save his time on building a stadium and build a team first! look what happened to Darlington!! This mess is all down to the Board who for years have shown they do not have clue... This club is rotten through to the core!! and have lied and treated the supporters like fools.. I just dont get how a club with the fan base it has can be in such a desperate position year after year!!
