Just had a text from a usually reliable source (not HP!) that Loach has been dropped and Gilmartin is starting.

If true, then I think it is a good move as it is clear that the defence does not have a lot of confidence in him at the moment...thoughts?

Oh god...this has to be a panic move! i think it is a very bad move if it's true...I don't have a lot of faith in Gilmartin...but i'll be happy if he proves me wrong.

Bad move. Loach is the best keeper we have, and I think it is harsh blaming Loach for the goal on Saturday. Dickinson and Taylor should have dealt with it.

He's not as good as Loach..why play someone second best? It doesn't make sense to me!

Not sure how we can judge Gilmartin on one game?

    We'll have to see.

Won't do Loach's confidence much good to be dropped..

Have heard from more than one source that Scott Loach will not be starting for #WatfordFC tonight against #Millwall

seems the rumour is gaining strength!

The looks that he was getting on Saturday suggested that the defenders were not happy with him. Only time will tell if Gilmartin is better, but maybe Loach needs a wake up call. He might think that his place is secure and needs some competition.

I would be dissapointed if it is true. He is a good goalkeeper and wasn't the one at fault on Saturday.

Maybe he is being dropped because it is felt his confidence is low due to the abuse he gets both in the stadium and on social networking.

It does seem to be firming up
We understand #WatfordFC goalkeeper Scott Loach has indeed been dropped for the #Millwall game and it is not injury

Gilmartin had a howler against brighton in the fa cup last season and we've lost 3/5 games we've had him in goal. Loach is better.

Not just one, he's played a fair amount of pre-season since he got here...and one or two cup games...

Mixed emotions about this one. I'm open to the idea of Loach being dropped for one of his regular clangers, but don't feel that an error where two other defenders were also at fault was the right one to drop him for.

I'll throw a spanner into the works. Of the three players who were at least partially at fault against Forest, the one who had the worst game in my opinion was Martin Taylor.

I don't think Martin Taylor is the same player that he was last season. He seems slower, less accurate. I don't feel as if he will manage to win every ball like i did last season..
