Reports out of france suggest that we want him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loïc_Rémy Over 6 foot and only 25. 10m Euros.
Nope, its in lequipe. Maybe Mbia has had a word (he was in tears after the OT match and climbed up the stands to give away his shirt) or maybe the Barton magic is working again! http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Les-qpr-veulent-remy-om/330224
I would prefer an out and out striker but... They come at a price, and would they come to us anyway? ( Given our current position.) From my limited knowledge of him he is a potential Henry. So on that basis, I say we should sign him up. ( Can anyone on here tweet Joey and get his take on him? )
Harry Redknapp Spies Chelsea Target Loic Remy As January QPR Addition Thursday, 29th November, 2012, New QPR manager Harry Redknapp is keen on snapping up Marseille striker Loic Remy, according to French sports daily L’Equipe. Redknapp was seriously interested in the 25-year-old during his time in charge of Tottenham Hotspur and even met up with the France international in May, before being sacked as Spurs boss and replaced by Andre Villas-Boas. The 65-year-old faces a tough job keeping QPR in the Premier League, with the Loftus Road club rock bottom of the table and without a win yet this season. Experienced boss Redknapp understands the need for relegation threatened teams to score goals to climb out of the mire and the addition of Remy would be an impressive one, while also giving the Rs’ hope they can survive. The Englishman is sure to have noted the words of Remy’s agent recently, who claimed that his client could be snapped up for as little as €10M in January, as budget cuts continue to bite at the Stade Velodrome. However, Redknapp may have to battle Chelsea for Remy’s signature, with the Blues having been strongly linked with bidding for the speedy forward over the summer, while earlier this month one of the Stamford Bridge club’s scouts admitted the Frenchman continues to be tracked by the Champions League holders. There remains the possibility that Redknapp’s old club Spurs could become involved in the race too, as Remy himself confirmed talks with the White Hart Lane outfit did take place during the summer. Remy has struggled to get going this season, seeing his early campaign disrupted by injury. The striker has only scored once in Ligue 1 so far in the current campaign, with his opening strike arriving last night, though it was merely a consolation as Marseille lost 4-1 at home against Lyon.
saw him a few seasons back, (before he was really known) very quick and scored some great goals. At the time Arsenal were sniffing around as i believe was Spurs (Harry in charge). Cannot see him coming to us because i think he could get into a top side, saying that he has had a few injuries so he may fit in fine.
