The 65-year-old faces a tough job keeping QPR in the Premier League, with the Loftus Road club rock bottom of the table and without a win yet this season. Experienced boss Redknapp understands the need for relegation threatened teams to score goals to climb out of the mire and the addition of Remy would be an impressive one, while also giving the Rs’ hope they can survive. The Englishman is sure to have noted the words of Remy’s agent recently, who claimed that his client could be snapped up for as little as €10M in January, as budget cuts continue to bite at the Stade Velodrome. However, Redknapp may have to battle Chelsea for Remy’s signature, with the Blues having been strongly linked with bidding for the speedy forward over the summer, while earlier this month one of the Stamford Bridge club’s scouts admitted the Frenchman continues to be tracked by the Champions League holders.
