We have nothing to hide. We got beat the better team and although we didn't help ourselves, we totally deserved a hammering.

However, I have no doubt things will be back to normal next week. Who you playing?:D

After their form in the second half of last season it's nothing less than I expected.

Like a turkey, these clowns will be cooked by Christmas.... <wizard>

You might want to look at the points we picked up in the second half of last season, opposed to the first half. You might be an incy wincy bit surprised.<ok>

Carra I have to confess that I'm ill informed about your form, players, pies and Delia's bra size.

I do confess to banal mud slinging, I think your kit is putrid and that you all live in communes.

I am also happy to opine in an infantile manner that you are certain for the drop on the basis of one game <ok>

We were wondering when you'd fall out from under Stephen Fry's man boobs?

How's it going Beefy? Sold your season ticket on ebay yet?

lol, your acting as if this is the only Tragedy I've seen from Norwich. This is like a Level 4 tragedy, Colchester 7-1 was like a level 9

Not sure what you mean by man-boobs though. tad strange.

I must admit i laughed at Who-tons comments after the game.

"You can't expect to play such an offensive formation and not concede goals" since when has 1 upfront been an offensive formation. I reckon the snakepit will be re-opened before we know it!

Come on guys. Don't mock the Budgie tradition of being walloped on the first day of the season!

It's one we all enjoy, after all...

hate to ruin your party but you've misquoted him - he said 'you can't expect to play an offensive formation and not concede goals'. he never said 'such', therefore completely changing what he meant. he said it as a reason for starting with a more negative tactic as he felt playing more attacking would lead to conceding more goals, so you've misquoted and taken it out of context.

regardless, it didn't bloody work! <laugh>

I'd be pretty defensive after that shag sack of a performance.

I like Hughton already, but it's pretty clear he's taking the budgies down. Soon to rival other budgie luminaries like Bryan "air kick" Gunn, Glenn "rodent" Roeder not to mention Gwant <laugh>

At least we get the derbies back....

you really are a bit weird sometimes aren't you!

nobody has said hughton doesn't play defensive football sometimes. the word 'sometimes' is the operative word though. he is focusing on our weakness from the last few years and that is conceding goals so he's tried to tighten us up. ok, he misjudged it badly and i personally don't think we have the players here to do that at the moment. if it took a pasting to understand that then so be it. lambert was probably too attacking - it worked much of the time but we took pastings playing that way too. you constantly claim he was negative at birmingham yet the games i watched were free-flowing (west ham away was as good as i saw from any team last year) and ALL the birmingham fans asked have spoken of their love for hughton's style of play. the fact they were a bit boring against ipswich doesn't mean they always were. i struggle to comprehend how hard that is for you to understand.
