Bloody modern technology ruining our lives and if LJ's time isn't spent tweeting then I would suggest he's talking to too many reporters. Bring back the crystal set and Radio Luxembourg.
Would that be the 208 Power Play jingle ? I used to stay awake for hours on end listening to Radio Luxembourg with all its crackles and fading in and out ! And always at the most inconvenient time, usually in the middle of my favourite songs !
ABSOLUTELY ...I used to have a book I was under 8 at the time and used to put down each song title then a tick everytime I heard it my time was usually for over an hour after the archers then I had to go home as it was 8pm I ran the 400 yds non stop ... the place was Castle Cary from the gas works to the High street tell Laura I love her was one of the most popular and last I heard as we moved to Bristol ..... Bill Haley, Diana, Frankie lane to name a few others ... wish I still had that book ...memories
