Good stat that is. Said before that Suarez has never been a natural striker/finisher, even when he was banging them in. He was scoring worldies which while amazing aren't what defines a top striker/goal scorer. A scorer of great goals, not a great goal scorer. However, saying that he is still very good in goal but he's an even beater creator. Before he would have to create most of his chances and be on the end of them as well! Now we have a more natural striker and they are playing regularly together you can see that Suarez's main job is to create goals for Sturridge. said on another thread, if Sturridge goes at a goal a game and Suarez goes at 1 in every 2 then we'll score plenty of goals

good post op interesting stats for a one man team lol, just imagine where we could be if Luis had chipped in with more, not a criticism as i should imagine he has assists of some kind for most of the goals scored for others in the list, just saying if he could be on the same amount of goals as Sturridge we could be a lot closer to the top than we are. also if we got more stone wall pens than we have been given, Stevie could be on a few more than he is.
