absolutely spellbinding performance tonight. Half time and 4-1 UP on Arsenal. Our 4-0 looking a decent result so far. They are a treat to watch. Hope they win the title.
In many respects I do, but I find the amount of media praise etc a bit nauseating - been the same over the last few seasons as well. Like they have a god given right to do well etc. Only going to get worse if they do win it
Not watching but see Salah’s down in the box, gets a penalty and scores. Anyone watching? Any “contact” this time? Or more accurately, was it a foul?
They have spent well, built a great squad, and they play some fantastic football. History is on their side considering every time second place significantly outspends the champions, that team wins the league the next season, and I genuinely like the Liverpool fans. The ones on here are mint too.
I’d be buzzing if they won the league. Generally they’re a class set of fans and the meltdown in Manchester would be something to behold!
Mmmm, I can remember years and years ago when we all said the same about man utd winning their first league title for 26 years and look how it ended for them...hated.
Not sure if it's true but saw a twitter feed saying Liverpool have scored more penalties in 5 days than the Toon have in 5 years. One for the stat boys me thinks.
Just seen both pen decisions and bloody hell they were softer than Andrex Put it this way we would NEVER get a decision like those
If we are not going to win the league this year then I would be happy to see either Spurs or Liverpool win it. The more teams competing for top spot the better. Hate the way it has become a mostly Chelsea-Man City-Man Utd procession. Think each team should be handicapped based on where they finished the previous season - instead of weights the winning team must be owned by Mike Ashley the following year.
FIFA could use this as their transfer embargo when clubs break the rules. Like when Barca were penalized over the Neymar deal, they should’ve been told Mike Ashley is running the club for the next 3 transfer windows!
