Watched them last night and im more optimistic for it. One thing for sure, they're no Arsenal despite being unbeaten and top. They look beatable and were clinging on for dear life at the end against Swansea. Their right back looks awful (Wisdom) if he plays against us id target him as the weak link. The game was very much like us v Arsenal. Swansea showed them far too much respect to begin with, then pushed up 5 yards and started pressing and looked like they could have gone on to nick it. Our problem might lie in the fact that their best player just so happens to be back in time to face us. (wind the little cnut up, he'll either be on.his best behavior or flip out). We need to be positive and get at them. On a side note, having watched Southampton v West Ham and Swansea last night I can honestly say that I don't think they are stronger than us at all. REASONS TO BE CHEERFUL!!!
Looking at him just before the second half kicked off I thought he was gonna burst out crying. Recovered well though. I wonder if Sess gifts us two goals?
swans one touch passing was fantastic, what do you do ,if you try and get close the movement and one touch, that player is out of the game, can or have we anybody who could disrupt the flow . As for liverpool i thought they looked heavy legged in the last ten mins, so our fitness could get us something near the end, lucas looked the main man for them imo
Agree totally - Cattermole has to play against teams like this for us - we need the way he harries and snaps at players as he hurries the opposition along when they're on the ball.
I'm not worried about swansea's passing. They're clearly struggling with breaking teams down this season, much like last. No finnished product unless they're gifted chances. If we can stay organized it should be at least a point.
