There is a possibilty he will be fit. I wouldn't have wanted him straight back in but with Allen out for six weeks and Henderson a doubt, Gerrard returning would without doubt be a good thing.

There's been a few great midfielders do brilliant in a centre back role, for their last couple of seasons. I can see that suiting SG.
