Big game tonight. The cloud of top four still looms large and if we don't lose, we're in the box seat I would reckon. Whether we actually want or need it is a different story of course. Personally would go with a back three of AWB, Varane and Maguire, and have Dalot and Telles as wing backs as neither is a good enough defender against tonight's opponents. Obviously, Ronaldo might have his mind elsewhere and not play, which would mean we are at the very least less comptetitive and severely weakened. Hopefully he can get his mind into playing, it might be cathartic for him.
Ronaldo out of the game. Which ****'s us up really, as no one really suitable to take his place. I wonder if Cavani can miraculously declare himself fit? Otherwise, I would give Rashford a run out at centre forward.
Based on availability, this would be my team. If Varane and Fred do happen to be fit, they get in ahead of Mata and Lindelof.
Can't see anything but a drubbing tbh. Ronaldo offered some hope but understandably is missing the game. Surprised you haven't put Elanga in there. Have him as CF and keep Rashford on the left. I'd even consider giving Garnacho a run out. He's got nothing to lose and plays with no fear. Fck it, probably even Hannibal as well in that CM.

Formation wise yeah, although not quite the team I had in mind. Wheeling Jones out for a random appearance is odd, and AWB is anything but a wing back. I'd have Sancho ahead of Elanga as well. And bollocks to Pogba, if he's leaving at the end of the season he shouldn't be even playing these games.
****ing annoying that once Dalot went to the right, Bissaka (faster) went left on Salah, Sancho went left and Elanga went right we actually started to look like a bit of a team. Complete set up was **** at the start, no excuse for lack of effort but you could see the difference after the change.
We don't have the midfield or front man to compete at the level required. Simples. How many games to go now? 5/6? Can't wait for Ten Hag to come in and the rebuild to begin. Not just the squad but a new mindset in terms of our style of football.
I got the idea of the formation, obviously as I'd thought it would work, but selection was nonesense. Pogba for a start. He shouldn't have started and his arse went inside ten minutes, the utter ****ing coward. Booed off last match, is leaving in a few weeks, yet starts this game! He was never going to try. To then replace him with another bloke who will also leave in a few weeks, wearing ****ing gloves, was just rubbing it in. And to bring Phil Jones in for his second start of the last three years, or whatever it is, was equally ridiculous. It's just setting him up for a fall, which isn't on. Improved second half but we were too far out of it by then. The opposition was too good. We really don't need top four so it won't do any more harm in the grand scheme of things.
Neutral here, hate both teams in equal measures. I was hoping for a Man United win but when I saw the line up it immediately concerned me as to how United would score. Rashford has lost his mojo he would be better off playing for UNICEF or some other charity. Dalot was embarrasing, could not control a bag of cement. Coach has to take some of the blame for the line up but the lack of effort was plain to see, then on 55mins someone switched on a lightswitch chances were created that Ronaldo would maybe have scored, sadly it lasted only 10 mins and The Alamo syndrome kicked back in. You will have better days.
Easy lads. Few thoughts on the game. Pogba, utter disgrace, nothing wrong with him he just didn't fancy it. I actually thought you were worse in that game last night than the 5 nil at yours. I like the kid with the big afro you brought on, literally the only one who stuck one on us. I cant see how you make top 4 tbh as that team last night looked like it was already on holiday. Bad times for you lot, no bones about it.
Yeh we were **** but I really wasn't expecting us to get anything tbh. Fair play to the Liverpool fans, there was a touch of class with that applause on 7 mins for Ronaldo. Whatever the grief between the clubs there is some mutual respect. A marked difference from some the other clubs. And I'm sure the United fans would've done likewise if it was the other way round.
Fcking idiots. Can't understand some ppl. Thankfully I don't know anyone like that. Surprising as well btw as the away fans are generally good. Fck knows what they were thinking but hope it was only a few dickheads.
