We are good at speculating on the starting 11 for our games but our starter next season is a case of who will be the starting 22, no idea.

With us looking to bring 10 new players in and Liverpool buying everyone in sight it could be an interesting day. Anfield is not the easiest start at any time but I must confess that looking at their players and new signings I approach this game with a lot of excitement and not a little dread.

We could start with a new keeper, changed defence, new midfield and striker, well your guess is as good as mine.

Liverpool, well I think we can say Reina, Gerrard and Suez(spelt wrong) then you choose.

The dread is easy to understand but it’s the excitement that is building, we face a potential mix of Liverpools new players bedding in and wanting to impress at the same time but the same will apply to our team.

Add in Henderson a possible start, Caroll with his Newcastle background, a possible if unlikely Man U connection and one thing it should not be is boring.

Then of course we have our first home game, say no more.

Fully expect Liverpool to be near the top in this coming season, and one thing they can't allow is a bad first half to the season, like what they just had.

Like you said, they already have Reina, Gerrard, Suarez (who i think will be top scorer, and best player in the prem). Throw in Carroll, and Henderson, with Kuyt and that Maxi fella, and if they get Charlie Adam, they look strong.

Hopefully we'll catch them on the hop, and they havn't gelled as a team. Interesting to say the least, with no idea of what our line-up could be...

Sure we are gonna see big changes to the squad over the next few weeks, just wish the wait for kick-off wasn't so long..

The mag game is gonna be a belter, bit like the ancient wars, and hopefully we'll kick their French arses again.

Careful. The French are the most successful military nation in history. I know because Stephen Fry said so.

What does Stephen Fry know? He likes a bit of male bum fun so he's not always right.
