should be a good one. they have heart. I'd go like this. kelleher Bradley gomez vvd Robertson Elliott endo macca salah gakpo diaz maybe i could be convinced to see quansah at cb and gomez at lb just to protect robbo for the final on Sunday. in any event we have an exciting opportunity to debut koumas in another klopp moment.
Tsimikas is back so no reason can’t play lb or do half each. Set pieces are going to be the biggest threat. Ideally you’d want Konate, depends if he can do get through all the games though
yeah I think we need to take great care with robertson so gomez at lb and quansah at cb then. old national super star in goal New world super star at rb New local super star at cb golden oldie at lb bad hair day at rcm. That's less than 10mil spend over 5 of the team. through in leg-endo and not it's 6 for less than one chelsea youth punt. kelleher Bradley quansah vvd gomez Elliott endo macallister salah gakpo diaz get the crowd going at night at anfield on a rearranged fixture (less tourist types, hopefully more youngerr fans) let's go.
We really need to score a couple quickly and then cruise…..they’re a battling team, last thing we need is more knocks but it’s still a must win. Quite a few players who could ideally play just a half in perfect circumstances but I doubt we’ll be so lucky, even at home.
3 points is all that's important. the league cup can do one. seriously though, I think if we protect Robertson and konate using the squad then we just have to mind salah and macca somehow.
Well it's all about getting those players back up to speed without getting a knock. the fa cup tie v Southampton is also alright for a couple to come in. we have good options even with alisson, trent, konate, Robertson, Szoboszlai, Jones, nunez and jota all "resting" now thats a ****ing squad. it's better than the squad that got close to a quad. maybe not as strong a first 11 par se but a better squad.
still need two fit options for evert position, even if a couple of them are kids. I think, in defence, we’re covered atm. Up front is a worry but Salah back is great news. Midfield is where we need it most though; we can’t expect Endo and Macca to play every game, so who replaces them? Szlob coming back is pivotal!
Well we can't have 2 fit players for every position in every eventuality. we have the squad to cope with exactly what we have now, some injuries. Jones won't be too serious imo. alisson will be a couple weeks Szoboszlai will be a couple weeks more trent, who knows jota who knows. nunez hopefully ok the squad is amazingly well covered we can select an 11 to play Luton amd hopefully win we'll at home but the key is not to stress salah and Robertson. this is the best squad depth klopp has had due to emergence of "many many fine cadets". Bradley, quansah, McConnell, Clark all add to our squad massively and I can't wait to see if klopp repeats the trick with a couple more now.
obviously some players will cover more than one position. If we win the league, Gomez should get 3 medals; one for every position he’s played! I think that the kids will play an important part of what we will do from here on in. We need legs against Chelsea; we dominated them when we could press hard…..but we were spent when we played Arsenal…..will be interesting to see how JK mixes it up now.
Salah should not play more than 60m as he’s returning from injury and there’s more to go for after this game. Elliott can come on for him. Gapko as 9 (no risk with Nunez) and Diaz on the left. Nunez on the bench if deemed fit. midfield, Macca and Endo should play limited minutes….with Gravenberch stepping in for 90. gomez on the left, VvD for 45, quansah for 90 and Bradley (should also try to limit his time) players to be hooked early: VvD, Salah, Macca, Endo, Bradley. Obviously, we need to be in complete control to do this…..not always guaranteed but a must this game please
