Liverpool at home to Fulham on Wednesday 3 May. Three London clubs in quick succession, West Ham away, Tottenham at home and Fulham at home. Fulham narrowly lost to Manchester City today. We need to play much more better against them. This is not going to be on TV because the original fixture was 3pm kick off

So after beating Emptyhands 4-3 we now have to step up against more difficult Fulham.

 

Win this… then beat Brentford on Saturday and we’ll be 3 behind newcastle (having played 2 more) before they play arsenal on Sunday.

Arsenal will obviously need the win… lose that and suddenly it’s 3 ahead of us with 1 game in hand. Next is away to Leeds who are fighting for survival. Poor form but this part of season throws up funny results.

Said million times, just win our games and then see where we are, but think fact we play twice before newcastle could give us psychological edge.

add in United are away to Brighton on Thursday, lose that and we could be 1 point behind them by time they play West Ham away on Sunday (with 2 games more played).

Just have to win these next 2 games and really put some pressure on both those teams. Make them have to win their games and don’t give them an easy way end to the season. Especially as United have fa cup final in back of their mind.

 

I think it is a bridge too far, however anything can happen. Newcastle needs to implode.

 

Never say never, but top four is hugely unlikely. Based on how the table looks today today, I'd be content if we finished the season in 5th.

I’ve made peace with finishing outside of top 4.

All I want from now until the end of the season is to see a system that has potential to work, getting the best out of our best players, and winning games. It’s imperative to end the season on a bit of a high, and build some momentum.

 

I would assume nunez starts this one and duaz comes on as it's too early to put another 60mins into diaz.
