At home to another London club, this time after international break. Chelsea are in form. League Table 1. Liverpool .............18 points 4. Chelsea .................14points. Last season: Liverpool 4:1 I am not expecting an easy game, but I reckon it will be tough for both especially after international break. We need to win this because we are facing Arsenal next away in the league. Game: Liverpool v Chelsea. Date: September 20 2024. Place: Anfield: Time: 16:30
Chelsea will have a very bad defensive crisis and potentially Jackson banned. After that who knows. It's all about stopping palmer. Stop him and they cease to function
Jackson won’t be banned. Cucurella and Fofana out hut they’ve got 200 other defenders so gives them a chance a guess
They have tape of him slapping a player which would get an ordinary person an assault charge. The reality is their defence is really a weak link and none of them are up to much. Take more out and it just gets worse.
Chelsea are in form, playing at home we have the advantage having our crowd behind us .Nottingham Forest situation must be presented by scoring very early in the game.
Some good news. Salah has been offered the chance to miss the Egypt game on Tuesday due to artificial pitch and has taken it so he is back and so will be vvd. Macca was on the bench last game for argies so hopefully he is resting nicely
I haven’t really watched that much of Chelsea this season so have no idea how this will pan out. I see they score freely and let in a few - could be a banger of a game.
Could be. It seems to be a case of stop Palmer and you stop them but they will have issues at the back for sure with absences.
I think Palmer is more vital. He's thier kdb so you have to cut him off between the lines where as a winger is a winger and it's a duel so it's down to our full backs to deal with or not. They should be just as worried about our forwards once we actually bother to actually attack and not pass it side to side of course.
he is more vital but he isn't the only threat and in addition to those 2 the pace of Jackson could be a worry with our high line though his grasp of the offside rule is almost as bad as Darwins
They all have someone they have to beat, Palmer is the one who's going to find spaces and imo that's the overload if he is not being picked up. And yes that should be macca if fit.
