We're going to have to go after them from the off.Chelsea did it and won comfortably.Okay we do that against the better sides, but we need to treat every side the same.Don't let them settle, and we'll have a performance as good as the one against Man City.

They are doing a late test on him the same applies to Carra,we won't know until the line-ups are announced.

Don't know yet. My gut feeling says they will, Kenny did an interview midweek and said that Andy Carroll had nothing wrong with him they just took him off as a precaution. Carragher is also fine apparently so I wouldn't be surprised to see him start.

I do have hope for Sterling though! He was in the match day squad last week; and the same again this week. If Carroll doesn't play; then we could see him on the bench at the very least.

I totally agree.Kenny said that age is not considered when putting in young players. If they're good enough, they're old enough. He could before the end of the season make the bench.

Looking foward to today's game. Hopefully we can pick up three vital points to push on towards 5th place.

the thing with Birmingham is they have a lot od driven and experienced players and McLeish is a good motivator, and once they get dug in, and the longer the game goes on, then the harder they are to break down. I think McLeish done a great job there but if we start with a high tempo there's no reason we can't put a few past them. We're at home so i'm pretty confident and would like to see Suarez and Carroll continue developing their partnership, and maybe Sterling to get a late runout.

Removes the temptation of the long ball i guess, and when we played this team against Utd we destroyed them. The key is Suarez for me. Against City he was involved in all of our attacks, and his use of the ball is so good. He opens up the pitch and creates chances, but as shown against Arsenal- if we don't get him the ball the team's attacking threat is reduced as a whole.

Birmingham team up - Doesn't look much like a strike force.
