It's going to be a tough game for the scousers tonight but a winnable game, A draw is not good enough and that's what Basel will be aiming for. I hope pool can get through just like every other premiership club who are in Europe i will be rooting for when they play....3-2 is my prediction.

 

1-2 , a defeat for a very poor side ,one of the poorest probably ever taken to the field wearing a red shirt .Gerrard now playing in an unfamiliar position ,Mignolet who's become a bit of a liability ,a misfiring Sterling although no surprise there as he's expected to carry the attacking threat on his own .Johnson & Skirtel who wants away and too many new faces brought in and a manager I'd say is losing the dressing room .Not good times if you're a supporter , the recent win v Leicester is only papering over the cracks .

They need a goal in any half and the way it's looking Basle look the more likely to score .Nice to see Sousa atm getting one over on his successor .

No im saying it as it looks atm. I only said i hope Liverpool get through like i would with any other British team If they dont then they dont just like when we play, I always hope we will win but if we dont then i wont lose any sleep over it....It's only a game..

 

Liverpool are a shadow of the team they were last season. As much as I hate the man, their decline only confirms just how good Luis Suarez really is.

 

suarez made all the difference last season and Rodgers will have to pay big money to find someone in January that's for sure..

Well it does go to show that old Paulo has a streak of attacking threat in his game plan ,something for various reasons was lacking when he was with us.

 

All he had was Pantstado and Trudle on the bench???............
