It really is fantastic that we can take Sterling, Suso, Pacheco, Ngoo, Wisdom, Wilson and Coady out of the u21s and there are good players who immediately step up to replace them. Ibe, (amazingly enough has not played much for the u21s.) Lloyd Jones, Rossiter, Dunn
enjoyable game. utd have some nice players. You can see some very rough edges on the younger lads but like what can you say, borini is way too good for this level, ibe is the best player besides him on the pitch and morgan looks like he's not out of place with those two which is very nice. Kelly aint had much to get up to at LCB yet. all in all here's to a few more...
Borini has been superb, games like this should only do his confidence good, he's looked a class above anyone on the pitch.
Typical UEFA, talk about starting an U19 champions league as a result sponsorship dries up for the Next Gen tournament which is forced to postpone this year. U19 CL? Nowhere to be seen. Reasonably good half there. Really like the look of Young Rossiter bearing in mind he's only 16!

Harsh free kick against Kelly there just looked bigger and stronger. Good defending from Rossiter again.
Reading that though, the teams entered based on the senior teams league positions not youth leagues etc, suppose they are all different at that level but still you get in based on how good your senior team is not how good your youth teams are??? Obviously some like United and Barca will probably be both or close to. But money & image first, actual football and development of youngsters second.
Liked that Borini has put the shift in. No more than he should but still good see. And just as I type that he gets a goal from really really tight angle. Good work!
Nice from Borini, pretty average football all around, but the class of Ibe and Borini does show. I also really like Mclachlan.
