    Looks like our first 3 are all on sky sports which just shows doesn't it.

    You've the revenge story first then the fairy tale and the the two giants of the game clashing.

    Good point. I was thinking more from the fans' viewpoint than the players'.
    It's hard to explain, but Monday football always feels odd to me, like it's not a real game somehow.

    its an awkward time. it has always been from the inception of the concept been used by sky to put on lesser games. in the 1990s they were the games not to bother with. the games sky were required to give to smaller teams so they chucked them on then to get then out of the way.

    now sky have more competition from bt etc they have not got the prime weekend slots they'd like so this liverpool v arsneal game has moved to a monday... nobody can say thats not a bloody awkward thing for fans.

  12. I did but it will be management that think a longer rest is better. Players will just want to get on with it.
