Liverpool the transfer scapegoats.

As we all know Liverpool have been linked to countless players this summer with Henderson being the latest one. If you look back at last summer you might remember that Tottenham were in the same position, being endlessly linked to players, but at the end of the day they didn't sign that many of the players they were linked with. Before Spurs you had Man City, and before that Chelsea.
Every year there is a team that the journos and twitter users will link any player to and this summer its liverpool.
There is no doubt that they are interested in Enrique, but IMO there is no chance that they will be getting Barton or any other of our players, and they are probably not interested in as many of our targets as we all believe

 

I think it's down to some moron journalists who think they have 100s of millions to spend when really all the money they spent in January came from Torres

 

The one common denominator between Liverpool and Spurs in relation to having similar transfer activity to Newcastle is Comolli.

 

Commonolli would sound better, don't you think?

 

If you look at the bindippers forum, no mention is made of Enrique. After a little bit of success, after KD got the gig, they are setting their sights much higher than that.
