Bricked one of our supporter coaches and dragged 2 under 16's off. If it was them they would have been asking for justice for the next 20 years. Horrible, hypocritical bastards. Always the victim it's never their fault.
But today's hooligans would not be in the same age group as the fine supporters who contributed to Hillsboro.
Think the point is they are not the little sporting angels they would like to be portrayed as. They have the same scumbag element all clubs suffer with.
Shocked at this, one of my pals who was down there told me about it last night, and I genuinely thought he was mistaken, given the decent rapport we've had with them, and our support in the JFT96 campaign. We don't even get this **** at our own derby now, so what a ****ing disappointment. Twats.
They should. Its just embarrassing for us. They just don't give a damn how that reflects on us as a club. Some people are just beyond comprehension.
Of course it is still only a minority, but I have found through experience that both Everton and Liverpool seem to have a far worse problem with hooliganism than other clubs, and it hasn't really gone away from this area of the country..
Mate we have mindless ****ers as well and its not a reflection an all Scousers at all. I just wish they would all **** off and stop haunting this game we all love so much. Well done on a well deserved victory last night but I do think you have some massive problems if Suarez gets a knock and how are you ever going to replace Gerrard? He is still the man who makes it all tick.
8 times or so I've been to Liverpool away, and never had any bother down there. Isolated incident by all accounts, move on.
With MM on this one been to Liverpool and Everton without any hassle, all clubs have them and they'll never disappear just like all clubs have decent people as well.
I'm not sure how old you are kidda but I watched that night live and let me tell you now it was the provocation of the Juve fans all night that led to the terrible disaster. They were throwing bricks and long pipes into the Liverpool end for ages without the authorities acting to stop it and when the Liverpool fans reacted to stop it themselves it led to a badly designed and decrepit old stadium wall collapsing and sadly killing the Juve fans caught beneath it. They started a fight that Liverpool fans didn't want and then paid a terrible price for those actions. It wasn't all Liverpool but they do attract a certain amount of trouble and controversy for sure but in the dozen times I've been to both Liverpool grounds I've drunk with them in their pubs right by the stadiums and had nowt but a good laugh with them all. Sadly, we have as many thick bell ends following us, that think kicking **** out of a few kids makes them hard as **** and good supporters. It doesn't. It makes them ****ing scum just like the ones who bricked our bus form Liverpool.
We certainly do, my uncle was on the train back from London and there were loads of our fans on the train coming back from a match. They terrorised the people on the train, being loud and abusive to families and normal groups of people. My uncle is not a small bloke and stood up to them and told them to behave, only the transport police stopped him getting a group kicking. He is not even a football fan and told me he could not understand why I go to football. I explained its a minority and not all Sunderland fans are like that.
