Liverpool spending spree 'to include deals for Joe Allen and Clint Dempsey'

The Northern Irishman is ready to return to former club Swansea in order to bring in Joe Allen for £10 million, while Gylfi Sigurdsson - whom he had on loan at the Liberty Stadium last season - is a £6 million target.

Could this be true, even though we have supposedly got an agreement to stop it?

Would you prefer Jo Allen or 10 million?

Maybe the board are cashing in their assets and leaving town.

And how does an article in the Metro prove I'm a Cardiff fan? And why are you so obsessed with Cardiff? Are you a closet cardiff fan? You mention them more than anyone else. Something going there.

I'm not relishing the negatives at all, but there's no good news to report. But, is it really negative? Many on here have said on numerous occasions that non-committed players should leave. So if it's true that Allen isn't committed and we get 10m, then that is positive not negative. My other threads are on next manager and that is a definite positive, as we are all looking forward to getting a great manager ready for next season. I've relishing seeing who he is. How is that a negative?

i told you lot yesterday that joe wants to follow brendan to liverpool and he is going to put in a transfer request. siggs i cant find anything about but the feeling is that he is waiting to see who the next manager is. My own feeling is that he will join liverpool anyway.....so come on jinks there is a lot riding on us getting an experienced manager ASAP....
