To quote Admiral Akbar... "It's a trap..." They must have made old whiskey noses whiskey a double double during that interview for him to come out with that.. Bloody Jinx'ing Jinxer!
So he's finally got over his bitter disappointment of not joining(in his words)"the pantheon of European great clubs", by not winning the EC/CL 4 times or more.
Doesn't bother him mate, one mans tenure will never equal a whole clubs lifespan. I think he is probably quite happy with what he achieved in his time with us compared to what you achieved
You said that the clubs successes past and future outweigh individual successes by managers? Well unless you're an accurate fortune teller I'd say the odds on the clubs(ours and yours)bettering Paisley and Fergie's records during their respective time at their clubs. Fergie's longer tenure brought him more success than Paisley domestically but in European terms Paisley's record was better, you seem positive that Utd will at sometime in the future win a 13 more league titles and 3 more CL's, that would be the only way Utd as a club could better Ferguson's achievement. Good look with your prediction.
I was talking about a manager having success during his tenure, where have I made future predictions. However, if you can see the future so clear that what you said is impossible then I will put a bet on tomorrow for my kids/grandkids to collect, when do you think it could happen?
You do realise Astro is basically the Forums version of Mourinho. Always someone elses fault and the whole world is against pool
