    I know Stewart Downing is a **** player but he was still one of the best in a dire Liverpool squad. Surely this will hurt Liverpool's hopes of finishing in mid table?

    £55 million is what Liverpool paid for them both, £35 million for Carroll and £20 million for Downing.

    Price and value. Two different things as the scousers found to their cost. But I would still value these 2 at £5.5m <laugh>
