The current form team in the Premiership are coming, how will we cope?

I can see a role reversal from Spurs with another pacey game but Liverpool set up to hit us hard and fast on the break.

If Gomis plays imo, he must play off Skirtle, roll him and run off his shoulder. Gomis must get touch tight to him and run off him.

As far as I've seen Skirtle is pedestrian over short yardage and because of this is all arms and legs when played close. He is also a little slow to react to events in front of him too and imo, is a bit of a liability but he's got away with things so far. Skirtles style, aggressive but slow to react, and temperament volatile, could work in our favour. .

Other than that I'm stumped for an edge any where else on the pitch as Liverpool are playing superbly well and their attack is lightening fast. Its gonna be exciting but I'd take a draw right now. What you think peeps

 

Tough game with the form team but we know it will be like a cup final so anything can happen. Credit to Brendan for getting his team to where they are after a shaky start after the loss of Suarez.... We are home and they have the quality so it should be a cracker...

 

I can't see us getting anything from this game, but what do I know, I had us getting just 3 points from the Last 3 + Liverpool game, and we have 6 so far

 

Draw game - 2 all

 

Ill go for a Draw but our players will have to be on top of their game for that.....

 

What we cant do is stand off them, especially just outside our box, both Coutinho and Henderson have scored some screamers lately and we cannot give them space. Show them little respect and get amongst them, work our bollox off and we may just get something. Back off them and they will tear us a new one.

 

2-1 , they're not solid at the back and IF Montero plays the and we play 1 4 5 1 then we we're in with more than chance to win it .The diamond formation will be the ruination of us if we use this formation .

 

Our hardest game of the season with Liverpool chasing a top 3-4 spot.Add to that they play Man.Utd after us.As much as it grips my s#¡t to say it 1-3.

 

I've always been an optimist, but...

I think this is hoping beyond hope. I haven't seen any 'rolling' or 'running off' from Bafe of any note at all.

 

If we can isolate Montero 1-on-1 against Can - which will probably happen because Liverpool's wingbacks are currently more focused on supporting the front men - then Montero will tear Can a new one. When a team plays 3 at the back, the aim has to be to get your best winger in space up against a centre back. When we gave Montero the ball in space against Kyle Walker, he was easily finding half a yard despite Walker being one of the quickest on the pitch, think what he'll do against Can. Can is no mug and is a big strong, athletic guy, but over 5 yards, Montero will leave him in his dust.

If it's true that Montero is nursing his hamstring, then I think we'll look to stay in the game to 60 mins and then bring Montero on to wreak havoc. I'm going to be bold and say a 2-1 to us (as long as we stay in the game up to 60 mins). However, if Liverpool score early and settle, I think it'll be 3-1 to Liverpool. The first half is very important for us.

 

I'd rather Montero come on from the start to try to get us a lead, rather than get us back into it late on.

 

If monty is 100% fit then he has to play the 90 minutes, this guy has the X factor about him and you can see he is a talented player and a bit special...

 

We are well placed for an assault on the top six in the Premier League over the last 10 games of the season. So why not start with Brenda's boys, but Montero has to start for this one as he will nutralise some of Liverpool's wing play nicely, this game I have down for a draw, but would love Monk and our boys to prove me wrong, we have it in us to beat Liverpool at Fortress Liberty........

United had the best current form record in the PL until they came to the Liberty!

 

Utd are **** though.
