Tremendous display on Saturday. I too have had a go at Bob in the past, but I thought his tactics on Saturday (and for the last few games) were spot on. 3 centre backs give us a much more solid fee and they look like they are defending as a unit rather than 3 disconnected individuals. Sure, Sturridge skinned Jones all afternoon but I'll excuse that as he's not a specialist full back and his play going forward was good and he'll tackle anything he can get at. McArthy looked back to his best, Stam is becoming a great attacking wing back, Diame looked real class and if Gomez keeps scoring I'll even excuse the fact that he hardly makes a tackle all game! I don't think defenders know what Moses is gong to do, because I get the feeling he's not always sure himself. But he too is beginning to find his feet in the Prem, just need a better final ball to round him off.

I honestly think anyone from about 7th down could be sucked into the relegation fight. We've had our real bad spell, other teams have theirs still to come. When we'd lost 8 on the spin I really thought we could get to new year without getting another point. But Bob has reacted to the situation and changed things around a bit and I feel much more positive. Having said that, I'd happily take 17th position now and move onto next year.

Anything could happen on Wednesday, but Dalgleish and co. were watching on Saturday and will have sized us up and Liverpool are starting to click a bit, so wouldn't be surprised if we were to lose. Wouldn't be the end of the world and points against teams around us will be what keeps us up.

But, I'm looking forward to it - come on you Blues!

Was a very good point point against Chelsea although I thought the Ref was crap and didn't give us a pen which was questionable and the foul outside the area with a few mins left. So we could have actualy won the game. I didn't like the formation with the 2 wing backs and 3 central defenders as it left us open to a counter a lot of times. Credit to Martinez for changing it which worked and hope for a positve result against Liverpool tonight.

Well 0-0 final score. Decent result but Liverpool were there for the taking as they wern't threatening our goal apart from the first 20 mins.
