Liverpool On Sunday.

Really been looking forward to this game for some time now and the added interest of coming up against our old striker added that little bit more spice to it. However since hearing he wasn't going to be able to play, the game seemed to lose some of it's appeal.

This morning though, I hear it's possible that be he'll be able to play after all. Going to be interesting to see him facing Colo and Willo. ( And us of course, he won't have us behind him for the first time, I wonder how he'll cope? )

He's not the Gateshead lad that plays for the Toon now, he's an out and out red now!

Really hope we keep a clean sheet and come away with the three points.

Think he'll come on as a sub, meaning we can reserve a special reception just for him, on a par with Owen's. I hope Williamson handle's him (since he will be the one marking him) and that Tiote breaks his legs

I fancy getting something from this game.
Up front Liverpool are a strong team, but the midfield isn't as string without Gerrard and their defence looks suspect. Keep suarez and Kuyt quite and they are pretty toothless then

Yes they tonked Birmingham by 5, but all of the goals were down to goalkeepers or defenders individual errors.

Just my opinion and not expecting an easy game, just don't see them as the force they once were.

 

On the bench at best, think they revised his return date for the Birmingham game though (said last 3 games).

Going to be a tough game for us, but think we could nick a goal from this and leave Anfield with a 1 - 0 win. Wont be putting any money on it though. .

 

Expect to see Carroll score a hat-trick... of own-goals! Gives us the win because it turns out he was just doing it so we get 35 mil, Carroll gets sacked from L'pool and he comes back to us on a free, good times!
