With a long and sometimes undistinguished list of loanees this season AND LFC willing to give updates on these players I thought it'd be nice to drop in fomr time to time to see who's doing what. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/loan-watch-balagizi-nets-twice-bradley-strikes-again James Balagizi scores twice in league 2. Conor Bradley Scores 1 to make it 2 goals and 2 assists for bolton in only 5 games so far.... dream start Rhys Williams played in the championship and kept a clean sheet Vitezslav Jaros played in league 2 but lost Adam Lewis played a bit for Newport County’s Marcelo Pitaluga played for Macclesfield as well. Tyler morton got on last week for Blackburn after an injury and made an assist but was again benched but got on at half time. not looking good already for this loanee as blackburn are at the same crap again. Clarkson scored a spectacular debut goal last week for aberdeen and played another hour Arroyo played as well. koumetio got on as asub. owen becks rather odd loan so far hasn't gotten him any game time.
Clarkson scored another cracking goal today apparently. 30 yard free kick to give Aberdeen. A 1-0 win. thats 2 long range goals for him now. Seems to be doing well up there although don’t think that’s what he’s in the team for! Problem is, a good season in Scotland doesn’t boost the value much. I guess if he does well up there a champ club might take a punt in him on loan which might increase his value to get a decent £10m fee for him or somethjng.
It will give him a growing up though. The main point for all these lads at their stage in career is to get game time and grow up. Jake cain got a bit of a shock that it's not enough to get him a chance off Liverpool but a good loan can turn a kid into a senior player at some level. . And it can break them too. Ultimately the fa have now changed the rules again and we now have u21s not u23 and really it's a u19 team at this point. As they won't let us have a b team.cos you know... we are england not some jumped up foreign place or something then we have to loan them or play them.
Point of most of the academy guys are to be moved on at some kind of profit to use to go towards first team. Get a few into the first team is brilliant but a few loans to bump up the value for most of these guys that are 20-22 and not anywhere near first team
Yeah, Clarkson really is a kid body on a pro footballer. He is far better than morton imo but physically he's like 14.
Connor Bradley playing v villa tonight for Bolton. Looks promising going forward as done ok job defensively so far
He's making us regret loaning him and finding his replacement a crock. Good start for the lad. Hopefully he continues apace. He looked like he had no clue postionally amd lacked confidence in the cups v seniors so this loan imo is crucial to help him.make a giant step forward.
Another goal and assist for conor Bradley in league 1. I know it's only league 1 but the lad is grabbing his chance big time.
Some interesting things on our loanees https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/loan-watch-parry-reaches-cup-final-clarkson-and-bearne-score Leighton Clarkson is continuing to have a good time in Scotland. Tyler morton has now 21 games under his belt already for Blackburn who are second in championship so he's building his rep and his physique etc.
