Personally, if chambo does go, I hope it's too liverpool. I think they're one of the few clubs which actually care about there younger players, look at jay spearing for example he played a fair few games last year. Hopefully, we will get as much as arsenal are supposedly offering. This is of course if we do actually sell him...
And no doubt that **** Comolli will take all the credit for 'creating' him, like he did Bale, no recognition of Southampton.
Liverpool of course are one of the few clubs in this country that look after their youngsters on the whole. They have brought a good few of their youngsters through in the past. They seemed to have dropped off in the past 4/5 years though. That is one club I believe would benefit him immediately going forward.

It's not our os. Just the rumours section and the article suggests that by saying 'media watch' and that it was from the mirror. so I doubt its true although he's the kinda lad Kenny would go for. What price do u reckon you'd sell at?
Depends on Nicola's mood. He wouldn't sell Puncheon, just because the player pissed him off by trying to get a move. He says we are not a selling club. As we don't need the money, I think Alex is worth more to us than he would be to anybody else.
I to don't think we will sell. It'll only happen if the player is unhappy or badly advised which there haven't been any signs of yet. Also as Saints are rising through the leagues he may well stay if we are moving up and improving the squad to do so. As we don't need to sell the price would be high.
If he wants to go then would much prefer he went to Liverpool than any of the others..... and lets face it £12 million for a teenager with one season of League One football behind him is a cracking deal.............however having said all that would still prefer to see him in a Saints shirt for a few more seasons yet
Firstly Cortese binned their EMAIL coz it didn't seem like he was as important to have a civilised phone call. Secondly Liverpool have just signed Jordan Henderson so AOC will not be going there. Case Closed!
Forgot that..Nicola went public about how irritated he was by Liverpool's approach. Said they showed no respect and he thought they didn't show any concern for Alex's development. Love a moody man!
Look at what they did with Kelly, Robinson, Flanagan, Spearing. It seems Dalglish is very keen on ensuring his youngsters develop to their potential.
It would take a lot with the best part upfront. We don't want to sell and we don't need to sell either. I guess the sort of club that paid £35m for Carroll might make us an offer we can't refuse. A few days ago, the Mirror said that Arsenal was a done deal so it's hardly the most consistent or reliable. It's probably just Mark Chamberlain spreading rumours again.

No offence, but what sort of clubs has a 'rumours' section on their OS. Just seems dodgy to me. If there is no truth in a rumour, why link it to you. If it is true, then why not announce it as news?
