Heâs signed a four-year contract at Salzburg. âI am pleased that as of now I will be able to play for an Austrian top clubâ said Gulacsi. âMy goal is to compete to be the clubâs number 1 and be successful with FC Red Bull Salzburg both domestically and in Europe.â Gulacsi was highly rated at Anfield but found himself behind Pepe Reina and more recently Brad Jones. He didnât make a first-team appearance, appearing on the bench 51 times.
This will make no difference to the team what so ever. But it's money in the bank I guess. Hopefully he can kick on with a successful career.
Another keeper gone, our link with MTK Budapest has yet to come to fruition, Nemeth and Simon flopped, and Adjoran probably wont make the cut either, waste of time.
Yes but maybe he now knows something like Reina is staying? Maybe thought he had a chance to move up the pecking order if there was a shake up, but now there isn't. Just speculating.....
