    Classy bunch aren't they?

I assume the supporters in the front row, looking thoroughly uncomfortable, are the wheelchair users. Nice <ok>

A beautiful tribute there at Anfield for such an emotive occasion.
I think some of them have actually managed to make themselves believe it wasn't a penalty, it's amazing how emotion can overpower the sense of sight.
Oh and Evans should have been sent off at the same time? Clutching at straws much.
Hope they are all proud of that video!

We are led to believe the scouse fans are little angels.
They always cheer from the stands with dignity and would never proffer vulgarity.

I get the impression that some of the viler elements of Liverpool's support believe that the recent Hillsborough findings give them carte blanche to be even twattier than usual.

Get over yourselves. If you took a video of any set of fans faced with a penalty against them, you'd hear the same things.
Do you think Utd fans are any different ?

No but Liverpool fans think they are different. In their minds they are a bunch of perm haired, moustachioed, cheeky scamps who are just at the game for a laugh and the love of football.

Nail on head - no other club in England trades on the "image" of its fan base quite like Liverpool FC. They're the most passionate, they're the most genuine, they're the best humoured and even though they can be lovable rogues they're also the best behaved. If they're going to claim that level of excellence then i think we're all entitled to pass comment on whether they meet the lofty targets that they set themselves.

I thought they were the best fans in the world: with the best sense of humour in the world. Munich aircrash, Shipman songs, Matthew Harding helicopter songs, orderly, sober, etc

It's good natured banter which outsiders don't understand - same as when they chose to serenade John Barnes with the banana booat song and then sent him death threats when he signed for them not 6 weeks later.

The word 'fan' is not mutually inclusive. You can't tar every single one with the same brush. You have decent ones. We have decent ones. Passionate nonetheless, but decent. You have twats, we have twats. Both kinds normally identify themselves readily. So, the word of the day is 'selectivity'. Get it? Got it? Good <ok>
