I think they're football noobs that haven't got a ****ing clue to be honest.

Clearly something is up with Sturrige and Klopp - I think it's possibly the fact Klopp doesn't like jumped up little pricks.


Those fans will be happy as anything if we win on Thursday. Fair weather fans.

Kloppy's impact at Livpl has been less than remarkable to be fair. Some really **** performances and results.

It will be interesting next season when he can no longer turn up to post match interviews, hold up his hands and say "nothing to do with me" while jetisoning another player under the bus.

He will start to be judged on his own signings and overall performance throughout the season. At this point he's trying to judge who is good enough and who needs to be moved on.
He's got us to one cup final and hopefully come Thursday we'll be in another, not bad really for such a short period of time.
Anyone moaning about Klopp at this point is a bit thick.

Yep, the "he will start to be judged on his own signings" seems to be a finely honed bit of spin that was quickly put in place as soon as he arrived. Right up there with "net spend" when Rafa was in charge. The fact is, that with the squad you have, you should be able to beat teams in the bottom half of the league. Klopp is no different to any other manager who's failed in the league this season. That deserves criticism. The reason you're more confident about cup games is because they're one off performances where anything can happen. While he deserves credit for your cup runs it happens to be exactly the same squad that's playing in the league.

Anyone trying to judge a manager after he's been in place for half a season is either a bit daft or just desperate for him to fail.

 

But we have criticised Klopp for playing such a weak team against Swansea (for example)...

I'm not sure what the point of this thread (especially your posts ) is tbh. It's no different to any other manger joining a new club... or am I missing something?

He hasn't had four Windows and £300m to build his own side

 

I don't mind that he's playing these lads, there is only one way we'll find out if they are good enough and we have a huge squad, there a lot of trimming to be done.
If he hadn't played them we wouldn't have found Ojo and Stewart, Danny Ward has also done OK I think he's a solid sub keeper for us now.
We're also now know that Smith and Randall are not good enough.

No it's not, the team's were playing in the league are totally different from those in the cups because we have to prioritise with injuries and stupidness (Sakho) and the squads vastly different.

Ward, Smith, Skrtel, Chirivella, Stewart, Ibe, & Ojo aren't first team regulars (with maybe the exception of Skrtel) but in a strongest team he'd be on the bench).

 

Klopp only cares about Europa and seeing what he has for the start of next season .
He doesn't care about the Premier League table the rest of the season .
If he wins Europa , fine .
If not he wants a full court press on the title next season and the domestic Cups .
The hell with Europe is what he has in mind for next season if he doesn't get the silverware for it this season .
A good plan too IMO.
