Is it just my imagination or are our fans setting off flares a lot more this season.

It used to be extremely rare, now it seems to be Every time we have a big match one goes off. Seems a stupid way to get a lifetime stadium ban (even if it does look really cool).

It's not that new it's just the guys doing it have gotten away with it.

Away games have had them for some years.

Eventually someone will get maimed. There are cases of this where flares blind people.

In short if the thrower or setter offer if not thrown could be done for assault if identified.

This is why away is easier.

Oh and these guys let on off in a public square yesterday and the Echo feed reported it like it was fun and cool and then also posted images of the flares last night again making it out to be great.

It's all fine until an idiot throws one onto a pitch or into opposing fan area and we are totally in the ****.

I think the club knows who is at it as do a lot of fans.
