Seriously how are they this deluded? <laugh> if he'd put £44k on top 4 I'd have still laughed but thought he was being overly optimistic, this is somewhat laughable though. This is probably the type of LFC fan that believes the MOTD propaganda re: the goals being wider to enable them to be less unlucky and hit the woodwork less, and convert draws into wins bull etc

"There has not been that much movement in or out of Anfield this summer but despite this, Liverpool now constitute around 40% of all stakes that we have taken on the Premier League winner market." - Does this mean Liverpool fans are the most deluded or is it the famous Scouse sense of humour I've heard so much about?

That won't happen. He's lost £44,000. Clearly has a lot of money though if he can afford to put £44,000 on us winning the league!

  7. Actually, this kind of delusion borders on the outright arrogant.

    Phil Thompson?
Seriously though, do Liverpool fans really think that the odds are that favourable?
    40% of all title bets?

A £777,333.33 return on a £44,000 bet for the impossible to happen is a **** bet. I'd expect to be a multi-millionaire if that came true, after betting that amount.
