This Twitter lark is a pile of poo. I just can't see the fascination. I can understand it's uses in terms of advertising (like facebook). Say you were in a local band and had a gig coming up or something. But otherwise I think folk would be better off living their own life rather than trawling through others. I asked the young lad at work why he is so fascinated with it. His response was "It's great, you get to find out what famous people think about things in everyday life and what they get up to in their spare time" I just shook my head in disbelief and walked off. The time he spends on it at home would be much better spent trying to empty his nuts in some young lass or actually doing something himself! He'll regret it when he's older.

 

Aye that Twitter crap is just that. Waste of time lads.

 

I use it for following footballers and comedians, but that's it. I only follow people that are interesting though (sorry Ferguson, Gosling, Jonas)

 

I use it mainly to be linked with fellow DJs and music producers & then some friends as I hate all the info Facebook wants of you (and monitors).
Like I've said before it helped me on my degree course to interview and get help from famous DJs/producers that I'd have had no chance to get in touch without (I had tried snailmail, email to their agents etc)
It also has helped me get a network of contacts now for DJing and gigging should I ever start doing it again (probably will once the dust from finishing my degree has settled).

I do also use it for NUFC and gaming news though.

 

if he does go i only wish its to a top team not ****ty liverpool.can't wait for the dalglish bubble to burst.8 million is an insult too.
i hope he does stay but why would he stay at a club with no ambition
