You fanboys are really impressed at a 3-0 victory over a weak team but you could have done so much better if you didn't choke.

Andy Caroll's big head got lucky last night - the final result hid the vulnerabilities of your side. Meanwhile Dirk Van Der Kuyt scored against a West Ham-esque defence - there is no skill in that.

Let's be clear, the lackof Fernando Torres is hurting your side. The great Fernando is working his magic at Chelsea - this is reflected in the league table:

    Chelsea - 3rd
    Liverpool - 6th

    Your thoughts?

Very poor effort. If you'd have picked one of the twelve we have lost you may have had a point! Silly girl.

I would also like to thank Liverpool for selling him. Had the Chavs not had him last night, Drogba might have played from the start... <ok>

It's starting to be a bit strange now, he's playing in a decent team and is a good player but just can't score and is next to useless at times. I wonder if he will move on again but would he be allowed to with what they paid for him?

Chelsea just aren't playing to his strengths. He thrived for Liverpool cos Alonso was so good at speeding the play up and getting Torres one on one with defenders whenever there was an opportunity. Chelsea have no one who does that - they seem to focus on slow build up play to try and overwhelm their opponents, which is not how Torres plays. They play to Drogba's strengths when Drogba isn't even on the field. They had the same problem with Shevchenko - it's like they never learn.

In my opinion, if the Chavs want to get the best out of Torres, they're going to need to bring in a quality playmaker like Xavi, Sneijder or Alonso, and start getting better service to Torres. And they're gonna need to do it quick, cos right now it's like he doesn't even want to know...

Nando has shake no bake. He should be on the shoulder of the last man, yet Chelsea have him coming 45 yards short to pick up passes and try bring players into the game, not his strong point now is it, Liverpool got goals out of him even though he was misfiring because we knew where he should be used.

he was dross at OT but won a pen and a free that got us two goals, he was dross at Anfield against Chelsea but scored twice. He has been poor in many many games and turned up with a goal. Play in a way that leaves him in front of the sticks facing a defender or free to shoot anywhere within 25 yards and he is dangerous even playing as he is.

For all Uniteds better play, and they were much better than Chelsea, the tie could have gone either way on goal chances and wrong decisions. No doubt the better teram went through, Chelsea were by far the easiest tie left in the CL as it turned out, even Donetz would have provided more of a challenge than that.

Anything can happen with Schalke, they can be good or bad and Inter are no great shakes this season either. Marseille and Chelsea, the last two rounds have been kind to United seeing as who is left in the comp they could have done much worse.
