My house.
With all the plaudits seemingly going to our senior players I'd like to acknowledge the contributions of these two. Also given the time and space to do so, played extemely well. The way JL burst into the area for his goal reminded me of a young Gerrard or Lampard, (don't panic, I'm not comparing!). He did not look out of place with Niko and VdV, doing plenty of donkey work for them.

AT also did well, apart from the sublime pass to release Defoe for Lennon's goal, fizzed a couple decent crosses that went begging...where have I heard that before? :undecided:

The only criticism that I'd aim at either of them was Livermore threatening to blow up when he was clipped repeatedly by Hearts players leaving their foot in.
He came very close to reacting at one point, which is something that needs to be avoided at all costs.

Hopefully both of them will get decent game time this season, be it at Spurs or out on loan again.

Livermore, especially looked good. Probably time to give him a run out against some more serious opposition, and see how he does.

In the case of Livermore, he looks like he could fulfill the O'Hara role for us - so selling him to Wolves could be a smart bit of business.

Except that O'Hara's "role" with us was to get fed up with starting on the bench, go out on loan for a few seasons then bugger off for first team football. I'm hoping Livermore is more willing to play a squad role, but unless he is given chances now and then, he may take the same route as O'Hara.
