The simple fact is that 'Pool have lost their consistency, and that is what makes them no longer serious contenders for the EPL title, and only reasonable contenders for a top 4 slot.

Even Arsenal have managed to find some degree of consistency, following their disastrous start to the season, and it's hardly surprising that they now sit in 4th spot.

I thought this would be our chance to prove that we can go on to a winning streak, instead we had a disastrous start with a loss at Fulham. We are so inconsistent I can see us slipping up in at least 2 more of those fixtures.

I think Liverpool are becoming to the Premier League what Leeds are to the Championship - they're not seen as a contender by clubs expecting to be up there in May, but they are seen as a scalp by the rest of the league. That would explain why they perform against the Manc corporations and Chelsea, yet can't get the measure of Fulham/Swansea/Norwich/Stoke.
