'Newcastle United seem set to make their third transfer of the summer as they move closer to a deal for 19-year-old defender Curtis Good.

Demba Ba may have been put off a move to Russia despite being reportedly offered £95,000 per week to play there.

Newcastle's resolve may also soon be tested as midfielder Yohan Cabaye is reportedly on Barcelona's shopping list this summer.

Alan Pardew has told Liverpool that they may have 'accept' making a loss on Andy Carroll should they wish to sell him, but Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has also hailed Carroll as a 'terrific player' who has a future at the club.

Newcastle are reported to still be interested in signing French international Loic Remy from Marseille, but his price-tag may make a move impossible in line with their current transfer policy.'

Cabaye to Barca is crap.

 

Cabaye seems to me like an ambitious player who wants to play football, I really cant imagine him moving somewhere that hes way behind in the pecking order like that.

Its probably bollocks anyway but those are my thoughts regardless.
