A draw I reckon, quite probably a tedious one, with neither wanting to over commit and lose the game.
It's the first time that these two club legends will have squared off against each other. For each, the stakes are high. Victory will bring time... Time to bed in, time to build, time to make the odd mistake without getting sacked. Defeat will bring shame and an increased likelihood of an exit at the end of the season. United have the home advantage, against a team that has lost its talisman, in Hazard. On the plus side, they've managed to offload Luiz. Chavs, however, have a fresh impetus, with the return of a club Legend, and a man who (together with Terry, Cole and Drogba) led many a dressing room revolt. Lamps won't **** about. Quite frankly (no pun intended), this is a hard one to call.
Just heading out now for a few slurps before heading to the match, hoping for a good game with lots of goals for us and none for them but I don’t really know what to expect, so being drunk is probably my best bet.
no no, it goes; One man couldn't carry 'CARRY' Couldn't carry Lampard '****' One man and his forlift truck Couldn't carry Lampard Two men couldn't carry etc
If we lose, the media will be all over Ole like a rash. As you say though, a win gives breathing space so we have to go for that. As it goes, I expect us to win anyway but a draw isn't the end of the world I suppose. Can't lose though.
Yeah tbf Ollie is probably under the most pressure this season out of all the PL managers... it feels like the media are literally waiting to get him fired I suppose managing Utd does bring intense scrutiny. I honestly can't see him making it past the media vultures - it seems inevitable.
