This story is so typical of the small-minded petty bureaucrats that run the FA and can be found at County level all over the country... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23259898
Wow, dividing the fines up between the staff and then expecting them to know they had to pay it is a bit harsh. Nothing surprised me with the football authorities any more. You just have to look what they did to the Doncaster ladies team so they could give Man City a place in the top league.
Just helping out a few friends. What is the point of getting to the top of tree where you have control and not helping your friends out ... or the ones who pay the most. FA = rotten to the core.
I agree that on the face of it this is unfair and punitive. My favourite bit in the article, however, was where Thurrock owner Tommy South told BBC Essex: "Joel should have told us but he never knew because he was in prison." That makes it all OK.
