Manchester United are reported to have joined the queue of clubs showing an interest in Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez.

Perez was the subject of a failed bid from Tottenham on transfer deadline day after Newcastle refused to sell, but that has not stopped speculation suggesting he could move on.

The Magpies are rooted to the foot of the Premier League table and are in desperate need of goals, meaning they will do all they can to keep hold of the talented 22-year-old. Perez himself has expressed his desire to fight for the Newcastle cause but will no doubt have his head turned if the Reds firm up their interest by making a bid in the January window.

United scouts have been tracking the Spain under-21 star and although they have yet to firm up their interest, that next step could be just around the corner as is ACS's local boozer..

If we are so in the **** come January he will be gone, one of the bright sparks but needs a team around him to make it happen as does any front player, barring injury he will be one hell of a player in 4 or 5 years time when he starts to hit his peak years.

    Agree here.
It will be sad to see him go but he has been a model pro and immediately settled into the region.
I remember a couple of days after signing he was spotted at Whitley Bay of all places watching a game.
He doesn't fall out of clubs pissed or assault people he just gets on with his job and always shows heart when he pulls on our shirt.
A great player and a great human being.

Shame as him and Mitro could be a very fruitful partnership. He won't be turning down Man U though.

Of course they will have to meet Mikes ridiculous prices - but that doesn't seem a problem for them

Surely would be looking at same price as Martial cost them then?

Valdes, Lingaard, Powell and an MUFC mug signed by Cleverley and that's our final offer.

Or we can advertise Sports Direct in the CL for Ashley and he can just let us have him for nowt. <ok>

But the decision is not for you to make, we will shake hands with the devil for 4 x advertising hoardings at The Theatre Of Dreams and a bucket of KFC (we'll bring the bucket to the negotiations, the smell will seal the deal).

He will be sold as will all our best players. It's not even a secret and we've been told numerous times that we are running a cattle market not a football club.

I'm just here to pull ya leg pal, he's a great kid, he'll do well to stay put for a year or two more, no point rushing him, unless you get relegated, he'll be wanting out then I'd think.

    It's
It's simply about when someone offers decent cash. All our players have a price just like all clubs, however other clubs are more careful with their relationship with their fanbase.

Surely you lot have become numb to it now mate?

The thing is, sometimes it's for the best, I'd imagine a lot of you are now gutted you didn't flog Tiote whilst his stock was high, or Krul, or Sissoko to a lesser extent?

Cabaye's the only one that's hit you hard, you haven't replaced him, Demba Ba as well possibly.

Not really tiote is still better than colback or anita in my opinion.

The issue was selling cabaye as him and tiote worked.

They did to begin with, then one of them always seemed to be out injured or suspended.

Anita needs a clever partner, he's a good grafter but that's what Colback's job is as well, they don't compliment each other.

Tiote hasn't looked good for a long time. I liked that Algerian lad you played there for a few games last season, he looked very decent against Spurs I think it was, on tele.

Perez is my fav. He's 22 though now, old enough to start to kick on. Wouldn't begrudge him leaving as I want to see him to really well.
