christ, I said banned! Haha. I watched a load of oz btw mate, class if completely depressing (not a bad thing but a load of them back to backis worrying) also pretty crude technically, makes you appreciate just how accomplished shows like the sopranos became. I'd only saw jk simmons in the spider-man trilogy so he was pretty shocking here. Was well worth watching, need to do last few series soon.

 

Great isn't it mate? I have to say the last season is slightly disappointing imo but I won't comment on it until you've seen it. I really think up and including the last episode of season 4 part 1 it can go against HBO wise. The writing and acting is top notch once it gets momentum going but I do agree that it can be very depressing in places. If you do watch season 6 mate make sure the last episode is the extended, non televised version which I know is on the region 1 set but not totally sure if it is on the region 2 release. It goes on for another 45 plus minutes and has some character resolutions not in the broadcast version.

I've often thought it should have ended earlier as some storylines got too ****ing ludicrous and it should have ended imo after season 4 part 2. I reckon you might also think that way once you have finished. Don't get me wrong season 5 is very strong and 6 does have amazing moments but the standard had seem to drop a fair bit which was a shame but still better than most tv shows around now.

 

Nice one, I would have likely had no idea about the extended finale. Yeah season four is just about where I'm up to and you can see it has improved a lot by then, if the fourth is something of a peak I should reslly enjoy it as its been great so far. Its odd sometimes as there are moments where there are no real major ongoing storylines so to speak, but that in itself just adds to the constant chaotic style of it and its obviously more character orientated anyway

As you say as well, its still better than most of the shows coming out recently and was really ambitious considering. Will start watching again soon.

 

I think my ban has been lifted

 

The commitee has decided all beel bans to be lifted upon the announcement of the team on sunday, or in the event of pardew saying something particularly stupid between now and then.

 

Well in that case next time Pardew opens his mouth all the bans will be lifted.

Fair do's Ban Ban, its about time someone stepped in to sought out some of the Nefarious Malcontents on here.

Most of the Bans seem fair to me, particularly for that trio of 'Cheating Rule Benders'.

The ban for Heed should've have happened weeks ago, so is well overdue.
To be honest I've sensed a wee bit of discontent the past week from some of my 'Merry Band of Followers', but, hopefully it will only be a passing phase.
