    Great Idea Funky. There's no-one better qualified for the job.

    He can light it from Mike Hancock's pipe.

    It's such an obvious choice FFD that it won't be taken up. You can't expect popular choice and blinding logic to get in the way of our daft 'leaders' coming uo with an obscure alternative! <somersault>

    I hear they were going to ask Kelvin Davis to carry the torch through Southampton, but were worried he might keep dropping it. :emoticon-0110-tongu

    They can't use le Tissier either. He couldn't run a mile when he was a player.

    Well, I guess that he would be a popular choice in Portsmouth, and rather appropriate. The only concern would be that my experiences with a "Primus" are that they take half a box of matches to light and then tend to run of out gas when it's least convenient. ;)

    Without resorting to bad puns, i think it will be either, Sally Gunnel, Roger Black, Kate Pickering or Michael East, all ran or swam for Solent area.

    You make jokes about Kelvin Davis, but look at Jamie Ashdown, I know who I'd have in goal out of the two

    On The Bus - calm down, calm down, and please learn how to "conduct" yourself on our site. I am trying to be "fare" with you here, and not "take you for a ride". Carry on like this, and you will soon be "out of service".

    That's the "ticket" :smiley-finger007::emoticon-0105-wink:

    Well, after those terrible bus puns, we should Clapham in irons! And as for Wooperts describing me as an "Aga-lout", it's the most half-baked suggestion ever!
