Correct. I'm going to get into thai boxing but since kickboxing is free at my gym I go along to that. Looking to get some personal training in thai boxing, there's a dude in Leeds that does it. Would rather do that instead of going to the classes to get my arse handed to me. Nev, there's something you can buy to strengthen wrists. I'm sure golds gym sells the wee things

jus go to classes if you have kickboxing exp then you should do fine. in training the dont elbow or do knees to the head so if you just avoid the clench then your just the same as kickboxing at training apart from a few rogue knees so ye should be okay how big are you physically and how strong is your upper body
To be honest mate I dont mind getting kicked or elbowed in the dish, it actually helps me. I'm pretty well built, 6ft with a strong upper body, not a beast but not limp at all. I need to learn the technique and become more supple.
