Highly rated Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has emerged as a summer transfer target for Millwall according to reports in the South London Press.

The 18-year-old striker impressed in a season long loan spell at Huddersfield Town last season, scoring eight goals in 21 starts for the Terriers.

After missing out on promotion from League One in the play-off final at the expense of Peterborough, Lee Clarke’s hopes of bringing the Gunners loanee back to the Galpharm Stadium next season look slim.

Afobe is keen to test himself at a higher level, and Millwall boss Kenny Jackett is prepared to give him that opportunity by bringing him to the New Den on a similar loan deal.

"You never know what is going to happen in football, but after the season has finished I'll return to Arsenal for pre-season and hopefully get a chance to impress back there," Afobe recently told skysports.com.

Millens cant be about Leeds its a decent signing,
he wont be ready for Leeds for another 18 yrs <laugh>

Can you trust a paper that has a Poll on it that says....

Will Millwall bounce back from play-off heartache to win promotion from League One next season?
