This happened in the Dutch league, not men's league it was a junior game. The culprits are 15-16 years old WTF! Puts our little problem in to perspective!
A Dutch assistant referee has died after being attacked by players A Dutch football linesman has died after being kicked and beaten by teenage players from a youth match he was supervising. Richard Nieuwenhuizen collapsed and was rushed to hospital hours after players from Amsterdam club Nieuw Sloten punched and kicked him. Mr Nieuwenhuizen's club, Buitenboys, announced the death but not the exact cause. Three players, aged from 15 to 16, were arrested for alleged involvement in the beating. Dutch Sports Minister Edith Schippers said: "It is absolutely terrible that something like this can happen on a Dutch sports field." Police said shortly before the linesman's death was announced that the players were still in custody.
the linesman from the Almera club Buitenboys means outside boys, was biast for them, so the Amsterdammers got the hump and ploeted him after the match, went home an an hour later was rushed to hospital feeling poorly where he died
I did think it was a bit close to the bone and in all seriousness it's absolutely appalling what happened. Just couldn't resist
