Obvious corruption how he misses the foul before the corner , gives a corner when Snoddy did not touch it gives a pen when both players were tugging each other and then misses another clear offside, all in 5 minutes!

If he is not investigated after that then what's the point of even turning up

Depends how many games we are talking about if its three or four it could be chance. If it's more than that then there is something in the stat.

This guy has officiated at Carrow road a few times, so i would not read anything into his
    appearances at Emirates.

IMO most refs and linesman are not corrupt, but incompetant.

In fairness, how many times a season do Arsenal lose at home? Most seasons they do not draw too many at home either so I would put this down to little more than coincidence and as Yarco says - incompetent for certain based on yesterdays display.

I am hoping the assessor will crucify him for it and he is dropped down a league or two <ok>

Lets hope his actions don't drop us down a league or two

I personally think it was a penalty...

But, It probably wasn't a corner.. and how the linesman gave the penalty and the ref didn't means you should ask questions of the ref aswell

Hard luck though, would certainly have been a massive boost to get a result at an in form Arsenal

Every fan knows that the top 4/5 clubs in the prem get the decisions at home, the penalty decision yesterday was nothing new, and would almost certainly been given at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, etc, professional players should know this as well and realize that they have to be oh so careful with challenges in their own penalty area, as any 50/50 decision will be given to the home team.

Having said that, I thought that you were worth at least a point yesterday, and had it not been for the penalty, possibly all three.

I think some players realise they tempt fate at a top five ground in their own areas. This partly explains Bunny going bonkers when the corner is awarded!

I agree with 'most' but that still leaves some in a senario where logic suggests that only an official can actually virtually guarantee match fixing.

Ignoring the strange decisions for a moment, I wonder why was Kamara in there in the first place? I thought he was playing on the wing, supporting Holt! We have 2 normally very capable centrebacks to deal with crosses. The more people in the area the more chance of that sort of thing happening.

Good point ILD,I feel that we overdo the number of bodies when defending set pieces.

Perhaps Kamara is useful with his height, but others like Snodds,Benno,Hooly etc only get in the way.

Kamara made the decision a lot easier for the officials because he got the wrong side of Giroud, if he would have been goalside there would have been no way in hell they could have given a penalty.

I am rapidly losing what little respect I had for Officials and the Authorities. Getting away from a lineman who couldn't see a goal kick when he was only 5 yards away, couldn't spot a clear offside from the same distance but could see a dubious shirt pull from 80 yards through a wall of players we now have the Aguero fiasco. The Authorities say they cannot take action because the Ref saw the two footed plunging assault and only thought it worthy of a free kick - the same story when they reviewed the attempted leg amputation by McManaman. Thats alright then isn't it? No it bloody well isn't. Instead of hiding behind some rule technicality the Authories should impose retrospective 5 match bans for each incident and tell the Officials concerned that if they thought that incidents, which they saw, were only worthy of a free kick they had better spend 3 weeks away from the game revising on the rules of the game. At the same time they can ask that bloody linesman to go to Spec Savers to correct his vision which obviously is Superman x-ray vision over long distances and the vision of Eli in last of the Summer Wine over short distances.

I've lost count of how many times we've been screwed over and, frankly, expect it as part of the very fabric of a premier league match. It's incompetence mixed with ego mixed with big team mentality. It's a dangerous combination and it sees clubs like us shafted every week.

What makes it even worse is that I have got round to looking at todays EDP. Anybody else seen the photo from behind of their second goal showing that Giroud was hauling back Bassong's shirt to get in front of him for the second goal? Yet again not spotted by Eli on the line!!!
